Maggie

Maggie

Maggie in Costa RicaSince her travels abroad with her sister, Anna, Maggie Hess is still in an exploratory part of her life.  While attending her last year at Berea College, Maggie works there as a writer for BC NOW! the college online news publication.   Maggie has had about five poems published
and hopes to publish in magazines like Friends Journal and Blue Fifth Review.

When she graduates with an English Writing degree, she hopes she will attend a Masters of Fine Arts degree program and/or possibly WWOOF on an organic farm for a home away from home.  Maggie's barnyard upbringing with her four siblings, her nephew, and his two children has had profound influence on her writing.
